you loose sight of reality when you want to hold on to someone who is no longer themselves. but you try anyway because you love them so much. you even change for them, lie for them, do things you would never do just to make them happy. along the lines you start to loose who you are and wonder if this is all making a difference. if the answer is no, let go. if you tried everything you can possibly imagine, sometimes giving up is the only option. its painful, hard, and probably the last thing you want to do but you have to keep telling yourself this…the person you love is still there, somewhere, deep within that person. he’s been hidden by insecurity, assumptions, pride, and greed. the only way he will ever be able to come back is if you leave. because what he needs right now is time and distance to grow and break free of all the unnecessary bullshit that keeps pulling him down. and truthfully, you being there just makes things worse….whether or not he will come back to you is a mystery..he may find someone else. Yes it will hurt and it will fucking suck, but you will live. Not a lot of people know how to let go of the people they know they were suppose to end up with. Not a lot of people have the guts to leave love. but know that you are probably 10x stronger than most people in the world to be able to watch someone you love and always will love leave you. but remember, you can still live..and you can still love.
